Homemade Pumpkin Puree
In the house we are living in now we have a very small oven, so I haven’t been baking much lately. In addition, at first it is a little difficult to get used to a new oven, but with the cold and how dark some days are in autumn and winter you want to cook and prepare sweets more.
You can use this homemade pumpkin puree in various recipes like pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, etc.
I had never tried pumpkin puree until I decided to make it at home. I wanted to make this recipe and it’s so easy that I don’t know why I didn’t dare before.
Only one ingredient is needed: pumpkin, nothing else. The recipe is also very simple, we have to chop the pumpkin, bake it until tender and beat. What is easy?
I had several recipe ideas for this season with pumpkin puree, but I was always putting them off because I couldn’t get it, but now that I know how it is prepared, I have no excuse not to try them and share them with you.
Tips:
- You can use any type of pumpkin to make the pumpkin puree, as long as it is in season.
- The amount varies depending on how much pumpkin puree you want to make. The recipe does not change if you make a piece of pumpkin, one whole or several, just keep in mind that it has to fit in the oven tray.
