Homemade Vegan Butter
Vegan butter, a healthy alternative to butter and margarine. It will be prepared in less than 5 minutes and it is out of this world. You’re going to love it!
I have always loved butter, so much so that I could even eat it by the spoonful, which is why I had been waiting for a long time to make a vegan butter.
The recipe is inspired by a couple of North American blogs and the truth is that it is very successful. I have seen that people usually add a pinch of turmeric to make it more yellow, but I prefer it that way, it is simpler and it tastes better.
This butter can be used like normal butter or margarine, to prepare all kinds of recipes and is a thousand times healthier than supermarket margarines. The way I like it the most is spread on bread.

Homemade Vegan Butter
Description
Vegan butter, a healthy alternative to butter and margarine. It will be prepared in less than 5 minutes and it is out of this world. You're going to love it!
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Mix the milk and juice in a bowl. Let sit for a minute or until it looks thicker and like it's been cut. If you want you can also mix them in the blender glass.
-
Put the mixture and the rest of the ingredients in a blender and beat until they are perfectly integrated.
-
Put the mixture in a container and let it rest in the fridge until it solidifies.
-
Store it in the fridge, but keep in mind that the ideal is to take it out for a while before using it so that it is not so hard. It keeps for about 2-3 weeks, or even longer.
Note
- Ideally, you should use refined coconut oil so that the butter doesn't taste like coconut, but if you want you can also use virgin or extra virgin coconut oil.
- Butter is best with neutral-flavored oils, such as sunflower, but if you want you can use olive oil or the one you prefer, other than coconut.
- Add more or less salt depending on how salty you want the butter.
- If you want your butter to be more yellow, you can add a pinch of turmeric powder, but I personally prefer it that way.
